The kembong Cultural & Development Association of America, Inc is a 501(c)(3) registered non-profit organization comprised of Kembong elements in North America in particular and in the diasporas in general who came together in 2005 to form this association for the purpose of assisting the forgotten indigenous people of Kembong in areas of Education, Economic development, Health and Social Services. The term “forgotten” is used because the mark of the government in these areas is not visible at all. It is also our goal to assist Kembong sons and daughters in the diaspora. To achieve this goal, financial contributions will be solicited from our members, as well as external organizations.
Kembong is a village in Eyukojock Sub-Division, South West Region, in the Republic of Cameroon. The inhabitants of Kembong, as of the 2005 census number 7,100 and such, is the largest village in the Republic of Cameroon and also serves as the largest conglomeration of the Ejagham people in Cameroon.
